I have a new project to show you! I have always loved the video aspect of my camera, but have rarely had the opportunity to use it. My sweet friend Melissa and her boyfriend Josh were kind enough to be my models for this video project, and this leads to announcement 1: These new lifestyle videos are going to be offered as an option to add on to shoots or just for fun. :) Look for more information in the pricing tab soon. These are half video/half shoot essentially. I love how this first one turned out!

Announcement 2: I am going to be taking less weddings in 2014 and on…I’d like more time to focus on each one, and that means accepting less. I also like the idea of having some free weekends in the summer. ;) I have had a blast with the 75+ weddings I’ve been a part of over the last few years, but I look forward to focusing on fewer per year and focusing on more portraits. That being said…brides. Email me immediately if you’re getting married in 2014 and want me to shoot your wedding. ;) I will still be booking engagement shoots like crazy because they are my very favorite, and obviously I will still do as many family/children/portrait shoots as possible! :)

New Logo, New Shoots

Hello friends! I have been MIA lately because of all this cold weather, but I do have a few new favorites to show you! And if you haven’t noticed, CaitPhoto has a new logo…because I love all things nautical, and this one is here to stay. ;)

Now booking for March and on! Wedding season is FULL, but I’m still open for regular sessions in the summer – just book early! ;)

Upcoming Schedule

You guys know I don’t blog here often. Sorry bout that. Haha. But here’s a little update of some of my favorite recent pictures! :) And scroll down to see my upcoming schedule and what days I’ll be off work…I’m going to have a puppy (YAY!) in the next couple months, so I will be trying my best to not overbook! ;)

August – mostly full – email me soon if you’re wanting to book something!

September & October - I have a few openings for regular shoots, and mini shoots would be best! I will be looking into getting my puppy and staying home to train him around early October most likely.

November - Off work the 17th-26th for Thanksgiving break. The rest is pretty much open!

December - I won’t be taking any shoots past December 12th, so if you want Christmas cards, book early! I’ll be finishing up Christmas editing and I’ll be off work December 12th-31st. If it’s cold, I’ll likely be off all of January too. :)

Also – if you’re interested in a mini shoot that you can bring your dog along on, email me soon! I have a few spots left!

My cousins-in-law just happen to have the cutest baby alive, and I was SO excited to take pictures of him! I took his newborns, and I can’t believe how fast his 6 month pictures came!

New Business Cards & New Mini Sessions!

Hello all! I know I’ve been ridiculously absent from this blog lately, but I’ve started a more personal blog (with smidgens of photography included of course!) at http://absolutelybositively.wordpress.com/. Come over and say hi! I update that blog a loooot more.

BUT I wanted to update this blog and let you know I’m going to be offering something new! I’m starting to book “mini sessions” – 15 minute shoots that still give you at least 10-20 photos on a disc. Mini shoots would be great for Valentine’s Day or birthdays – anything that you just want a few new pictures for! They’re listed under the investment & portraits tab with a little more information, but I’ll add some examples and location options in the next week so you can learn more about them. :)

And in other news, I’ve got some fabulous new business cards to show you!

It’s rainy! I love when it’s rainy! :) Too bad I’ve been at my second job today and can’t sleep and watch movies all day. ;)

Just an update for you all – session prices will be changing for 2012! Portrait sessions scheduled for Monday-Thursday will be $200, and Fridays/Saturdays will be $250. Both sessions will still come with the disc, which is a fabulous deal if I do say so myself. :)

I have three or four spots left for the rest of the year, so if you want to book a session before prices change, email me soon!

Side note. Check out my super cute family. :) 

Fall Fall Fall

I love this season! The weather has been PERFECT lately. :) Wanted to give you guys a heads-up – I am booked full in October, but there are a few spots left in November & December. I’ll be off work (no shoots, no answering emails, no editing) from November 19th-27th for Thanksgiving, and off from December 17th-January 7th for Christmas vacation. I’ll still answer important emails during the Christmas break…but maybe not as quickly. ;) If you’re wanting to schedule a shoot for Christmas pictures, email me asap!

No post can happen without a picture…so here’s one from the Adel/Yinger family shoot the other night! Such cuties!
